Help Abdul Rahman and His Family to Survive in Gaza War Zone

My name is Naser Alimrani, and I am creating this campaign on behalf of my dear friend Abdul Rahman Al-Mughanni, a 17-year-old boy from Gaza. This is the second time I am launching this fundraiser, after the first one was unfairly removed without explanation. I cannot stay silent, because Abdul Rahman and his family desperately need support to survive.

Before I share Abdul Rahman’s words, I want to sincerely thank everyone who donated to the first campaign. Although GoFundMe deleted that page, the funds raised were safely delivered to Abdul Rahman and his family. Your generosity helped them endure some of the most difficult days of their lives — providing food, rent, and the bare minimum to survive in Gaza’s miserable situation. Your kindness truly made a difference, and we are deeply grateful.

Here are Abdul Rahman’s words:

My name is Abdul Rahman, I am 17 years old, and I live in Gaza with my parents and five younger siblings.

This year, I was supposed to be in high school. But as the war drags into its second year, there is no school for me or my brothers and sisters. Instead of carrying books, my daily life is now about survival. I spend long hours standing in line to fill a water gallon, searching for wood or scraps to make a fire for cooking, or walking from place to place to see if any free food is being distributed. Childhood and education have been replaced by struggle and hardship.

This is my family:

My sister Sara, 19 years old

My sister Mariam, 15 years old

My brother Abdellah, 12 years old

My brother Omar, 10 years old

My little brother Owais, 8 years old

Together with my father and mother, we are eight souls enduring unimaginable hardship.

We are asking for your help to raise 30,000 CAD. This support will provide us with:

Food and daily essentials

Rent for safe shelter

Costs of moving or evacuation if possible

The chance for us children to grow up with at least the minimum dignity every human deserves
