Hello, I am Amir Hartt from America, and I am using my mother's Chuffed account to raise funds for Alaa Abu Tawela and family, in the Gaza Strip. I heard about this family's situation through a mutual friend Mohammed Abu Tawela in Gaza who has helped me with transfers in the past, especially for at-risk Gazans. I am grateful to be able to further assist in his mutual aid efforts, and thankfully he has prepared beautiful text for me to present to you on this link, which will present the situation of Alaa's family.

"We are a family of seven: a father, a mother, three boys, and two girls. We once lived in a modest home, full of love and stability. We carried big dreams—to see our children learn and grow in a safe environment, and to continue building a better future for them and for our community.

The father owned a small carpentry workshop, where he worked for more than fifteen years crafting furniture to provide for his family with dignity. But when the recent war began, everything was destroyed—our home, the workshop, and even the sense of safety we held on to.

On November 14, 2024, our baby boy Adam was born, in the harshest of circumstances. We had no home to shelter us, no food or medicine in sufficient supply. Today we suffer from a severe shortage of food and clean water, and we are unable to secure baby formula and basic health supplies—leaving Adam’s very first days of life marked by suffering no child should ever endure.

Now, our only dream is to secure a dignified life for our children: to provide them with food, medicine, and shelter, and to give back even a small piece of the safety they have lost.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in our lives. Your support will help us survive and provide our children with what they desperately need in these tragic times."

Thanks you for your time. Funds will be transfered to the paypal account of the aforementioned mutual friend Mohammed Abu Tawela.
