Hello everyone. Dr. Khamis Ahmed, Palestinian doctor, father of eight children I used to live a normal life with my family, enjoying the comfort of home and the happiness that comes with it. But everything changed on October 7, 2023. My family members were stuck in Gaza during these extremely difficult times and under constant daily threats. The occupation destroyed my entire home and wiped it off the map, forcing us to flee and move several times, leaving us homeless. Everything has become difficult now that we cannot find a safe place to live. As a doctor, I have dedicated myself to helping others. Working as a doctor in the intensive care unit during times of war is an unimaginably difficult and stressful experience. We face the daunting task of caring for a large number of injured patients and providing assistance to children suffering from severe burns, disfigurements due to aggression, marginalized limbs, organ damage, life-threatening bleeding and chronic diseases. Unfortunately, our medical facilities are poorly equipped and lack basic medicines, equipment and sufficient critical care beds. Despite the enormous challenges, we refuse to give up. We continue to provide healthcare to those who need it even when our own safety is at risk. We ask for your help to raise funds to get my family out of the Gaza Strip and to help a number of Gazans provide treatment to the largest number of people. We are trying to achieve many achievements in saving the lives of children and providing them with the necessary treatment in the fundraising campaign. We need your immediate and urgent support. We also want to provide medicines to any patient who needs help. However, the prices of these medicines are very high. Your donation is not just a donation, it is an opportunity to rebuild lives and brighten a better tomorrow. Be part of our story of hope because we need your hand to start over. All the support you can provide will help us help more people in Gaza in the current catastrophic situation. It is our duty to help our people during these difficult times.
In the end, your support is not only financial, but it is a gesture of solidarity and humanity.
