People have been displaced since the first day of the war, in tents that do not protect against the heat of summer or the cold of winter. I lost my father on the first day of the war. His car was bombed while he was working as an ambulance driver. My house was destroyed by Israeli warplanes, and now we are suffering difficult conditions. I hope you will help me and my family. My daughters became afraid of any sound of planes and bombing, and they became terrified and anxious."
Before the latest extermination campaign against Gaza began, Khaled received treatment in his eye in Egypt and had dreams to support his family through making deliveries on a motorcycle. Even though he studied Physical Therapy, he has not been able to make a living, and his home was destroyed in 2014 and again in 2023. They have been forcibly displaced at least a dozen times now.
Most recently in July: their extended family tent has been attacked by the zionists, his mother is injured in her leg and still has shrapnel in her body, his youngest sister is severely injured in her leg too. His eldest sister has a broken leg, a broken arm and shrapnel in her body. Her husband has been martyred, may he rest in peace. His brother is injured with a broken leg as well, his two sons with shrapnel in their precious heads. His wife had surgery after she was injured in her stomach, and his sister in law (eldest brother's wife) is injured with a broken leg and her young child has been martyred also.
They need money for food, medicine, transportation, bandages and hospital treatment.
This money will provide for Khaled's entire extended family and potentially even his friends and community, as he always shares with his loved ones, the same way they do with him, but everything is so scarce now, and while the person managing this campaign has been personally supporting and assting through their circle, the needs are too dire and too big to meet on our own, so we turn to you, dear generous reader for help and support.
Please give what you can to support Khaled and his family, knowing that support for him will also support his immediate family and friends, as people in Gaza tend to share what they receive because mutual aid is ingrained in Gaza.
Thank you and many blessings to you and yours.
